A HEALTHIER TREAT FOR CHRISTMAS TIME!

Healthy Chocolate Truffles

½ cup almond butter
1/3 cup cacao powder
¼ cup flaxseed meal
2 Tbsp. chia seeds
3-4 Tbsp. maple syrup (you may also use honey or rice malt syrup)
1/3 cup dried cherries or cranberries
Dash of milk (almond or oat milk work well)

 

Method

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until combined.
  2. Scoop out with a spoon, place in bowl, and transfer to fridge for 10 mins.
  3. Roll into small ball with your hands, place on plate, and sprinkle with coconut (optional).
  4. Store in an airtight container in fridge.
  5. Enjoy!
