THE BAD FATS

Over eating saturated fats may increase the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Saturated fats are found fatty cuts of meat, lard, regular fat dairy foods, processed meats, baked goods, fried foods, and coconut oil. Particularly bad are the trans fats found in many processed foods and deep-fried foods. For a healthy diet, these foods are best avoided as much as possible.
